Combining skin care lines in treatments and with specific clients in not recommended. GlyMed Plus products are synergistically formulated to work as a system. GlyMed Plus is unable to determine how other products would integrate into that system.

Are GlyMed Plus products safe for pregnant or lactating women?

For safety reasons, GlyMed Plus always suggests that any patient that is under a physician’s care to get a release before utilizing products or peels. During pregnancy the skin is susceptible to pigmentation (melasma, inflammation and sensitivities). Therefore, it is suggested to concentrate on balancing and nurturing the skin during pregnancy and wait to and minister more aggressive treatments after. Ingredients to avoid:  AHA’s, Benzoyl Peroxide, Hydroquinone, Salicylic acid, Resorcinol.

What is the order of product application for home care?

The most important thing to remember when applying product is that water based products go on first. The more occlusive products go on over them to seal and protect the product and the environment. Thinnest to thickest.
